This is the "BRender Non-Commercial Evaluation Kit", Version 1.2, CD Version 1.0, from March 1996.
It appears to be the version that was released as warez on April 30th, 1996, by the "BOB - Bunch of Buttmunches" group.
BRender is a software 3D engine, as used in games like Argonaut's Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, Stainless Games' Carmageddon, and Microsoft's 3D Movie Maker.
This was extracted from the original .ARJ files and uploaded as a zip, for ease of use.
This SDK contains the libraries compressed as a .Z file, also for ease of use those have been included in the "lib.zip" file.
I believe this is the version mentioned in the Reality Check Network warez magazine,
issue 14 (and
issue 15). The dates match, and the original ARJ version I received was packaged in 25 separate volumes, as indicated in the magazine.
The installer isn't really needed, but if you run it, it will ask for a custom serial code. You can calculator you own number by taking the number it gives you and applying the following python formula:
(((~X)>>4)&0xfffffff)^0x11f37a7
